Review on Biokleen Dishwashing Concentrated Eco Friendly Preservatives by Jim Linquist

I have used this product for many years - in two different homes. I'm a firm believer in this and it doesn't take a lot of product, just half a teaspoon in each compartment. My previous home and our new home both had salt based water softeners and this product worked great. We removed the water softener in our new house and used a non-salt water softener which honestly doesn't work. Our hardness is 120+ and this product will now leave a white film and residue in the dishwasher, crockery and cutlery. I am disappointed that this no longer works for us. I've used it for 15 years or more with no problem. It has never left a permanent milky film on our glasses and has always done a good job. I switched to another product that works so much better which is shocking. If Biokleen isn't working for you, it may not be the product, but the hardness of your water. If you have softened water, this works great!
