I needed a better webcam to view documents during video conferences. My webcam has good resolution, brightness, and contrast, but poor focal length. This camera is superior in every way. The video picture is excellent. It works fine with Linux. It automatically focuses on my document to within a few inches (I didn't try closer), and now no one complains about the image no matter how small I write. The only issue I found was that there could be focus issues when the sun shines through the trees and then through the window onto my document. The movement seems to confuse him. It would probably be annoying to watch something like this without losing focus, so I just draw the curtains. The best "Webcam" I've ever seen.
