Works very well but receiver gets terribly hot! I've used it with a GTX 1080 and now a GTX 1080 Ti to play video games from my PC on a Samsung KS8500 series 4K TV. I strongly recommend keeping it isolated from other devices and in a well-ventilated place. I keep it on my AV stand and there are no other components within 12 inches. I still overheated several times. I turned it upside down, with the vented bottom of the case facing up. That helps, but when the room temperature hits 75F or a bit higher I have to put a small fan next to the HDMI receiver to keep it from overheating. I also suggest that you at least disconnect the receiving device from the Ethernet POE cable to prevent it from being powered unnecessarily and thus avoid heating up when not in use. When the device overheats, you see artifacts (randomly colored pixels) on the TV and eventually the output just stops. Heat issues aside, I was pleasantly surprised that the HDBaseT technology was actually able to display 4K video. via an Ethernet cable. I've only played racing games, but I haven't had any lag issues. Overall I'm still happy that it allows me to leave my gaming PC in the basement and play upstairs on my TV.
