Advantages: no carbohydrates, no fats. I want my no-carb whey protein manufacturer to produce casein protein powder, but unfortunately it doesn't. All other casein proteins contain at least some carbohydrates or fats. The whole reason I use protein powder is because I want a pure protein that doesn't have those things in them. This at least fits into the picture and is otherwise tolerable. Cons: The taste and texture are not very good. I've had other casein powders that were better on both counts. If you have a protein shaker it will mix well. But even after that it's too chalky. The taste is also not very good. It's not gross by any measure, but it's strong and not great. I mix it with my whey protein at a 1:2 ratio, but its flavor still overwhelms it. The price is right though, and since it has no carbs or fat, I'll probably buy it again until I find another brand that's the same but not at an incredibly high price.
