Review on πŸ“ School Smart - 85250 Newsprint Drawing Paper, Lightweight 30 lb, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Pack of 500 Sheets by Lori Aguirre

Revainrating 5 out of 5

At first I was worried because my color laser has NO issues. The base for gluing printed paper is almost perfect. NO jam!

I was very careful looking through this paper. All the bad news about jammed paper and nightmares about digging up shredded paper. Yes, I can attest that this paper is very thin. But I wanted to print pages with pieces of paper for my quilt designs. I use the quilting program EQ7 and create my own blocks. EXPLOSION. Anyway, I have a Canon MC8380CWD color laser inkjet printer that I have second hand with very little use. One of the best purchases I've ever made. However, this is not a printer rating! The paper went to tray 1 and printed ALL pages properly. So I can't speak for inkjet printers (mostly rubbish), but for Canon Laser Jet. It was perfection. Let's get back to the paper. Paper 8.5 x 11! Well when you print out your base design it will take up 2 or more pages (depending on how big your design is! Then sew the paper together). So I need 64 design pages. I need 2 pages. Napkin Math includes 128 design pages. I had no problem printing all 128 files. I was worried. So I flipped through a few pages and immediately felt good. I submitted the entire print job! No jams. So I hate spending more dollars than I need. . If I use another "CD base paper" I would get 1/5 of a 100 page paper (not enough for my ONE project). $1 less than what I paid for 500 pages. So for me it was a great purchase.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
