Installation is quite easy if you have space for nuts and bolts. Unfortunately, mine was difficult because there was not enough space. I did, however, and was relieved when I filled the black tank with water and there were no more leaks. There was a lot of gritty material in and behind the old valve, so I flushed that dirt out before installing the new valve. I used petroleum jelly on the gaskets and put the gaskets on the fittings first. The old valve was from Valterra and this Camco fitted perfectly.
