Bags come on a roll, but tearing each piece off the roll is easy - the serrated edges are perfectly finished, nothing twitches or tears! The quality of the plastic is strong - I tried to break it with both hands, it didn't break! (see fig.). Plan to use it to keep leafy greens fresher longer with the water vacuum method and to keep clothes dry when hiking - much cheaper than zippered bags. It would be ideal if it was in a self-distributing box.
