First of all, this is a serious device, not the usual cheap yellow plastic multimeter you can buy at Radio Shack or Walmart. The build quality is excellent. It's big, heavy, and looks like it could take a hit. The case is heavy, thick, rubberized. Handles and knobs are solid. Key features include an extra large display, automatic AC/DC voltage and current modes, variable frequency drive mode, auto hold, peak hold, and 99 datasets for manual record/recall. The display can be backlit at the push of a button. This unit ships with 10A test leads, temperature probe, neck strap, instruction manual, and user documentation CD. Includes Energizer batteries. This device can measure voltage, resistance, continuity, diode, capacitance, temperature (with included thermocouple adapter) and current. This device is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for!
