Review on Medium Manzella Power Stretch Gloves by Danny Bell

Perfect for photographers in cold weather

I bought these gloves to use for travel and wildlife photography in cold climates and winter. If it's below 20ºF or below you'll need to supplement the warmth these gloves can give you, but beyond that they're great. Heavier gloves, while warm, are too bulky to be useful when walking around with your camera. When it's even colder outside than these gloves can handle, there are other solutions, including camera bags with hand/arm cuffs and hand warmers. These gloves also have "touch tips" which are great if you plan to use your phone while taking photos. I have wildlife apps on my phone that I use when photographing wildlife. The only downside to the gloves is that their looks have faltered a bit, and it seems early. I wasn't expecting them to roll yet so I'll wait and see if I can use them after the season. I recommend these gloves with a caveat above and understanding their temperature limit.

Pros
  • TouchTip on index finger and thumb compatible with touchscreen technology
Cons
  • The list goes on.
