This is an eccentric upper ball joint for Hyundai or Mitsubishi front upper control arm. This allows the shop to align the caster and camber of the non-adjustable steering knuckle to extend the life of your tires. This is to reduce friction when driving. It's really easy to install if you have a ball joint/tie rod end removal tool and a set of upper control arm removal hand tools. After the lever is on the workbench, the retaining ring must be removed so that the old ball joint can be pushed out or knocked out.
