This part looked and fit exactly like the replacement part. Be sure to disconnect the battery before starting work. Not only does this provide security, but ERASES OLD CODES. If something is still wrong, the computer will generate new codes. To check for codes on your Neon, turn the key to the "Start" or "On" position (do not start the car) three times and leave it on the third time and all codes will appear on the odometer display. If there are no codes, the message "Done" is displayed.
