Eliminates most of the water hammer
They were easy to attach to my washing machine's hot and cold outlets. The washing machine inlets are stacked on top of each other, forcing me to install them on the laundry outlets and not directly on the washing machine. Our water pressure is about 60 psi. I just wish they were a little longer, but they eliminated most of the water hammer. Whenever I install new plumbing for toilets and washing machines, I always add a 10" air box if there is room in the wall. This only works for new buildings if you don't want to run into a wall.
