How is that supposed to smell? The one I received smells like diluted bleach when I smell it from the bottle. I smell no bleach after spraying. I'm not sure yet if that helps with the smell of the cat box. It was recommended by a Facebook member so I decided to give it a try. I'll edit my review once I've tried it for a while. Edited on August 31, 2021 Didn't feel like it helped at all. Also, I started using it as usual and while holding the bottle and spraying, the cap came off and most of the liquid spread all over the bottom. Preventing this requires a more thoughtful combination of bottle and cap. The weight of the bottle with the liquid inside caused the cap to detach from the bottle.
