This item is exactly as described. The car fast charging adapter is mostly made of metal and doesn't take up too much space for what it is. I bought one when I got a new phone that needed a Type-C connection. The fast charging option for a car is awesome. I use it together with my GPS and when I arrive at my destination the battery is always at 100%! This is very different from my previous phone that had a microUSB port. The second was bought because I bought my wife an updated phone that also uses this connection. The cables are durable and look like they'll last - mostly these are user-caused issues. I have a lot of cords and never have to buy extra cords because of a break, but I love taking care of my stuff. I am satisfied, will buy again as a gift for my children as they use it too and both drive. Go ahead and get it if you're debating for any reason.
