Review on 🍾 Enhanced Red Baron Bottle Capper: Elevating Your Bottling Experience by Anthony Chacon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great DIY gear option

These things work great. I have one that still works after 4 years, bought another just in case. They are rigid and have a fairly simple design. You can ignore the 1 star rating for this product for two reasons. First, who the heck are clear glass bottles? Hell is a great enemy of beer taste, brown is the standard for home brewing. Second, clear glass bottles tend to be thinner and more prone to breakage. Manufacturers use them to keep cheap beer cheap. Most of your brown craft beer bottles tend to be thicker and able to withstand the pressure exerted by the capper. While I'm at it, put STILL STRONG pressure on the cap or you risk breaking the bottle. Also check the bottles for cracks or bumps that could cause them to break. I've only found a few 26mm bottles that are difficult to close with this cap: Dogfishhead is one of them.
