Review on 👟 ALEADER Kids Youth Sport Water Hiking Sandals: The Perfect Outdoor Footwear for Toddlers, Little Kids & Big Kids by Andy Edwards

I had a hard time finding a bulge toe shoe for my 7 year old daughter as she has outgrown toddler size and is a youth size 1. I love buying her a pair of peep toe shoes every summer because they're the perfect sockless shoe for biking, playing, and summertime fun (which sometimes involves water and mud). I ordered them after they ran out from the usual places I buy cheap kids' shoes (Carters, Walmart, Target). It's growing too fast to justify some of the prices for shoes like Keen, so I was glad to find them at Revain. That being said, I had pretty low expectations and these shoes seem surprisingly well made considering the price. My daughter says they are comfortable and easy to put on and take off. It's only been a few game days so I have to update this review after beating them up and being in the washing machine multiple times throughout the summer. Update: Changed my rating to 2 stars. After 2 weeks of use, I noticed that the velcro on the straps was wearing out. The condition worsened and after 4 weeks it got worse (see photo). I do not recommend these shoes due to broken Velcro straps. Update #2: The damage I mentioned in my previous update has gotten worse, but seems to be mostly cosmetic - the straps still work fine. After I posted the original photo, my daughter wore them to summer camp for a week and they came back totally filthy. Having nothing to lose I threw them in the washing machine along with some old towels and was VERY glad they came out sparkling clean. They have since been washed several times with similar results. I'm increasing my rating back to 4 stars, I'm still upset that the strap broke and looks bad, but any kid's shoe that can be beaten and washed as is is worth 4 stars in my book. .Update #3: My child continued to wear these shoes in summer 2020 and into summer 2021. Washed them in my washing machine many times. I actually bought a second pair as they outgrew last year's pair. For what I paid I am very happy with this shoe. They are still in good enough shape to be passed on to a younger brother or sister. What a saga but I finally settled on a 5 star rating
