I read a review here that said these brushes are just as soft or softer than many of the more expensive brushes. I really like these expensive brushes. but cost. Phew...these brushes might be the hardest brushes I've ever used, my first thought was to bring them back. Not me. I am painting a rental apartment. Extra brushes are good, last night I used a 2 1/2 inch brush in the bedroom. To my surprise she is amazing. excellent rejuvenation. Now I think these brushes might be the best cutting brushes I've ever used. Price without object. I've been drawing for 40 years. That doesn't make me nice, just cocky, this haircut brush is all about control and craftsmanship. it allows you to be the best you can be. I just ordered a few of these. My new ones are best for cutting brushes. they hold color well. This is how the paint flows onto the painted surface. Did I mention control? The only drawback is the cleaning. I give them 8 out of 10 points. With a stainless steel wire brush and ammonia and vigorous scrubbing there was still some paint but a slight residue on the handle. but they clean better than those $17 brushes.
