Does the job and holds the elastic well, but the holes are small and unforgiving so you can only use them with thinner elastics. The photo shows a mask for 6-year-olds who prefer a thinner elastic band. These went through with no problems. But it's quite difficult to put them on over 1/8 inch wide braided elastics. The kit also doesn't come with a rubber band pulling tool, but it's easy enough to take a pair of pliers and a paperclip and make your own. 5 stars for two styles and two colors.
