Great mug. Works as advertised. Suitable for the elderly and people with arthritis who often drop things. Especially those of us with arthritis in our hands. Although the mug is made of microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe plastic, the mug is closer in weight to a glass mug. The only downside is that, as other reviewers have pointed out, actual capacity is small. If you don't really need a large mug, that's no problem. NOTE TO TERVIS: make the version slightly larger. 18 ounces or even larger. I would buy one that reaches 24 ounces. With the coffee craze that has developed over the past decade, many people are wanting really big mugs to hold the ocean of coffee they consume every day. I think it will sell very well. Hard, large, unbreakable, heat-resistant coffee mugs with microwave-safe handles are hardly competitive. This is an untapped market. I discovered the Tervis mug after searching for such an item. Most of the others are just travel mugs with no handles that cannot be used in the microwave etc.
