This grinder was a birthday present for a friend of mine. He is an instrumental "addict"; and the last time I was in his shop I noticed that his grinder was not working properly. This circumstance was the reason for my order. In any case, my friend was very happy about the mill. On the other hand, he has not yet received the grinding wheels I ordered. To be honest the discs haven't even been shipped yet - a bit of a disappointment if you ask me. Anyway, the next day he brought the grinder to the store. He later called me to tell me how well the grinder was working on some of his body projects. He also mentioned that he was so used to his poor grinder that he forgot what was meant by "optimal performance" for such a tool. The new grinder put him back in perspective. To further clarify his point of view, he mentioned that the mill was easy to use and comfortable to hold and had greatly speeded up his projects. He also said that despite the six-inch wheels, the detail work wasn't too difficult. In general, he was very happy with my choice.
