Easy to put on without even taking off the exhaust. Follow the instructions and even view a you-tube . Start from the back and work your way to the front. You will get it. I do recommend wearing nitrile or latex gloves. There is fiberglass in the mesh and if you don't, you will know it later. I have ridden a few times but with cooler weather haven't noticed much difference. I needed some insulation from the exhaust out-take from feeling up the right side of my seat. Seems to be a cheap option to fix. Also, if you have chrome covers over your exhaust system, you may need to upgrade the size of your clamps to fit over the insulation. FYI: half the $ on Best Buy than that of the auto store (if it is in stock). Good Luck :)
