the battery that came with it was dead

After hours of trying to program it to no avail, I've come to the conclusion that it's either a bad product or a bad battery. I bought a new battery and installed it and everything worked. If it came with a good battery I would give 5 stars. I just had extra time looking for a new battery and not everyone carries this type.
