This watch was exactly what we wanted. It has a radio with a good volume range (from very quiet to very loud), the projection is clear and it has two levels of brightness. It can be placed upside down or turned right side up depending on where it is in your room or where you want to project on the ceiling. It has a working USB port for charging phones. I haven't tried it with our iPad mini, but I assume it will charge too (perhaps slower?). We don't use the alarm function, it's for the youngest daughter, but we've tested it, it seems to work fine. The sleep setting can be changed so that the music turns off after a different amount of time (up to 90 minutes I think). I am very happy with this purchase. I bought a similar one from Revain which had blue light time projection but the volume for 1 (lowest setting) was literally two rooms away. You can check my other reviews to see how it was.
