UPDATED 3 MONTHS LATER. Ozeri Fresco Duo Salt and Pepper Mill, Made in Germany THAT THING IS SHIT! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. THIS CANNOT CONTINUE! Below is the review I wrote when I first received this shaker (I'll leave it there). I received the shaker in November 2012. It's February 2013 and last night it finally broke. THIS BARLEY LASTED 3 MONTHS! Sorry if I misled anyone in my initial review but I had no idea it would fall apart so quickly. All plastic parts are inside and very cheaply made. I guarantee this thing will break for you too, it's inevitable. No matter how careful you are with it, the sheer movements required to grind salt or pepper will cause the whole thing to loosen and eventually break the plastic parts inside. good idea, but very bad execution. It is clear that they received cheap and used plastic parts instead of metal parts. Obviously I'm disappointed and feel completely betrayed here! you have been warned! (One star for the original concept and because it looks good) First feedback after delivery. Shipping takes about a week/plus "if you've opted for free shipping" so you need to order really early if you're gifting and need it by a certain date. The Salt Mill appears to leave salt dust on the hand you use to hold the mill. and you really have to point it where you want it to squirt or it will squirt all over your body. This can be aided by deeper walls around the salt/pepper release zone. and sometimes it seems to be crooked when its upright "it might be optical though" hasn't figured it out yet. All in all a great gift, works well, looks great on any table or counter. does what it should. Definitely recommend it.
