Review on ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Saucony Redeemer ISO 2 Men's Running Shoe by Leo Torres

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent stability in overpronation; not very breathable

When I first opened them, I laughed and checked the tag to make sure I hadn't accidentally bought the wide version. This is the widest running shoe I've ever worn and I have a relatively narrow foot so I've always gone for the Saucony. However, once I tried them on and started wearing them everywhere, they felt good. The width makes them feel blocky/stable - definitely not flexible. I still don't use them for non-walking or jogging workouts and sometimes jokingly refer to them as my snowshoes. But once I started riding them a few miles I quickly realized how good their stability was. Instead of having sore ankles and knees the next day, I felt great. They have really helped me a lot with my overpronation - better than other stable shoes I've tried in the past. The only real negative I can find is that they are hot! After 15 minutes in it my feet are completely wet. I know all the side stays that add stability are to some extent to blame, but I wish they could find a sweet spot with a little more breathability.
