Useless Toy Best in Tools & Equipment Category

Autel AL629 is totally useless and this production description is totally misleading. Says it covers almost all cars? Well it's a joke. Check out the KIA coverage. Kia Soul 2014 Nope. This is exactly why the Soul model is in the database after 2011! If you look at other KIA models, they also have poor coverage. And yes, I did updates with Autel software. And I called Autel and although the support was provided by US officials, two different guys were no help. Finally the second guy found a document listing all KIA models covered by AL629 and confirming that 2011 is the last year of coverage for the Soul model. I then found the same document buried on the Autel website as well. Honestly, this is the most misadvertised product I've come across in a long time. Autel should be ashamed of promoting their product with a wide range when the range is TERRIBLE. In fact, I'll take it a step further - there should be a drop down menu to select the YEAR, BRAND and MODEL of your vehicle(s) and the coverage should be verified so the buyer knows what they are buying. No wonder this product is heavily discounted from the original price. The AL629 isn't worthy of Hamilton, and Autel should be heavily criticized for its gross misrepresentation of actual vehicle coverage. If you don't cover 2011 Kia Soul models, your coverage is ***PAINFUL. ***
