Review on πŸ“ Taylor Precision Stainless Steel Analog Kitchen Scale, Silver, 11 lb Capacity by Beth Allen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I read many reviews about many.

I read a lot of reviews about different scales. Almost everything seems to be garbage these days. I ordered this one, basically just betting I'd get one that worked properly. The shipping box is undamaged, the box with the goods is undamaged. When I took the scale out, everything was carefully wrapped in cardboard and plastic so as not to damage the cardboard. The steel is very brittle and the base hasn't been leveled so it wobbles back and forth on the counter. I twisted the base as tight as possible to align it, so now it only wobbles when you apply uneven pressure to it. There was a large factory dent on the bowl that I tried to pop out with my thumbs. About half of the dent has returned to its correct position, leaving two smaller dents instead of the larger ones. I have weighed several items of known weight and the scale seems to show accurate repeatability. We'll see how long that lasts, but judging by the overall build quality, I'm not optimistic.
