I have had a Ryobi 9 inch band saw for almost 15 years. I've always bought local replacement blades like Lowes/Home Depot. I have made log furniture and MANY projects around the house. I broke a couple of straps and replaced the rubber tires with them. I have NEVER been able to cut logs or 4x4s, stacked plywood, 1" hardwood or anything like that with this band saw without twisting, sticking, smoking, etc. I'm going to build a recurve bow. So I wanted a good blade. I saw the reviews for this blade so I gave it a try (twice the Ryobi blade). THAT'S 10 TIMES THE CHARACTER QUALITY I BUY!. It cuts through all of those things with ease. EASY. I can't speak for life yet. Because after about 30 minutes, when I was just making cuts to see if I could cut something I never could before, I stopped. I want to save the blade for the next bow. I give this knife a full 5 stars plus. It's BETTER than having a new saw because I've never had performance like this from the blades I've used, even with a brand new saw!
