Growing up in New Orleans, we had these trays when we ate cooked seafood. It was a great way to tidy up the tables after eating cooked crab, crayfish and shrimp. After finding a source for good Louisiana-style boiled crawfish in Boston, I decided I needed something better than newspaper over a garbage bag to enjoy crawfish. These trays are perfect for work and take up less space on the table, which is also my desk. They're also great for those rare occasions when I want to dine on the couch. My only regret is that I couldn't get the color palette I wanted, but I'm glad I didn't wait to get my favorite color. The trays were put into service two days after receipt.
