
Camera quality is to be expected from the OV5647 camera sensor, if you want a cheap Pi camera and understand the limitations of the camera sensor from comparative reviews this is value for money. In low light or variable light conditions the sensor is a mixed bag, if you are observing a well lit area or as some others are using these cameras to monitor their 3D printers this will do the trick. I found the low light performance to be slightly better than a real webcam. It takes a little time to carefully assemble the included stand. I would like to point out that a flex cable will not work well for normal Pi setups if your use requires it to be farther from the case.
