I have bought a total of 3 of these routers in a short period of time based on reviews on smallnetbuilder. Unfortunately, smallnetbuilder accounts for performance but not reliability, which is my main issue with them. I can therefore speak with certainty only of the first two cases. The one installed in a family member's house dropped the connection fairly constantly. Each time we were able to reboot the router and we were up and running again. You have a decent number of devices at home, but not so many that this router can't handle them. When in doubt, we went with Phicomm and upgraded our modem first because we wondered if it COULD be the modem. nope Connections still drop quite often. As a result, I replaced the router with a Linksys AC1900 router and it became much more reliable. I installed the second router for my small business. I still use it. In the beginning, more fell out than a small business owner would like. Maybe several times a month. It still crashes occasionally, albeit less often. We also replaced our modem earlier and the router still has its flaws. Again I have to restart the router and again everything is fine. We also took care of checking the firmware. PROS: - Easy to use interface - Easy to set up - Works well (according to Smallnetbuilder it was about number 3 on my last review) CONS: - Unreliable connections / more disconnects than the average router. Kon is a deal breaker for me. I won't be using Phicomm for a while
