This time the wine was as it should be and was very pleasant. A few nights later, I tried the drops again on a $10 bottle — Little Syrah, which is one of my favorite weekday bottles. I had the exact same experience. These drops spoil the wine and turn it into vinegar. My unproven theory is that the hydrogen peroxide droplets speed up the wine's oxidation process, making it taste like the bottle has been open for days. These drips are a waste of money and will ruin your wine.
