I was going to gift it in a bag and put it in a Christmas stocking, but decided to take it out of the bag so the child can easily see it when opening it. Glad I checked first. It seems sturdy and well made, but I don't want to give my child a broken toy. I will see if it would be better to order a set as it will be boxed. I've heard a lot of good things about Schleich and seen Schleich sets at my girlfriends', so I wanted to order. As my child enjoyed playing with them at a friend's house I will continue to buy hoping it was just a mistake. I expect quality from a German company. At the moment I could just keep it as they didn't want me to send it back but when I bought it brand new I expected it to be in great condition. The customer service was very good so I am sure I will buy from them again in the future.
