A few years ago I bought a Vizio Smart TV with the same remote control. A few years later, my husband bought a larger Vizio Smart TV that came with a longer, thinner, and much cheaper remote (also available from Revain). The newer remote activated different buttons than pressed, the lettering rubbed off, the whole back fell off and last week it broke completely. I replaced it with this elegant remote control based on my good experience with my old remote control and my TV. This is a very durable plastic, great tactile feedback, and the batteries have their own cover. No programming required. It is slightly shorter and thicker than it appears in the picture here. The same old remote still works and looks brand new six years later, so I know this one will last a long time.
