Preparing for a 3,000 mile trip that I plan to work remotely for (when my wife's turn to drive of course) and set up a circle table. I have to turn on my laptop, connect it to two phones to tether it to different carriers, and keep everything organized on a small desk so our device doesn't turn into a terrible rat's nest of wires. everything is connected without disturbing tensions in the cables or through the mouse room. Then I thought about getting a right angle cable adapter from my USB-C hub to my laptop. Puff. Now everything fits comfortably whether I put my work Mac or my personal HP Linux laptop on my desk. Both laptops report that the connection is fine, although I think it's worth noting that none of the hubs I'm able to test support Thunderbolt, so I can't report success. However, if I remember how TB works over USB-C, anything that works for USB-C should also work for Thunderbolt.
