I was a bit nervous about the performance of this device for the price but so far it has been solid. Right out of the box the image seemed a little grainy and low resolution, but I simply put it down to being a relatively cheaper device. It was only later that I fiddled with the settings in the software that came with it and found the option to increase the resolution. Once I cranked it up to the highest level, it worked really well. The included base is flimsy and cannot hold the scope at any angle other than near vertical. I suppose that's to be expected, but there's so little space between the scope and the surface it's resting on that I've often tried rotating the scope a bit to get a better view of things. In these cases, I found it better to just have a really steady hand and forget about the mount. All in all, considering the price, this device works great.
