Given that these lights are so cheap I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. I figured they'd do the job and look nice, but figured they wouldn't be particularly durable and that with constant use I'd probably run into at least a few "dead bulbs". I can soon say that I am really impressed with their excellent quality. They look beautiful and are the perfect color to add some warmth to my apartment - I get compliments all the time when someone new comes in! The wire is thin but strong; I bent it sideways, rearranged my headlights a couple of times and still haven't suffered any damage. I've since changed attitudes, but at one point I woke up to find my cat had jumped up and pulled down a piece of wire and was happily chewing on it like it was a toy. I deliberately chose these lights because they are waterproof, knowing that if my cat inevitably pulls them down to chew and play with them, I don't get electrocuted. After that happened, I looked closely at what she was nibbling on, and even with her sharp, tiny teeth, I couldn't see a single sign of wear. Now I'm sure I'll be using them for years! If I move to a bigger apartment I will definitely buy a second set of these lamps!
