This watch is easy to read when there is sufficient light. If you want to tell the time in the dark (or even semi-darkness), you need a backlit watch. Note that this clock only reports the room temperature. It does not display the outside temperature or weather information. I like the narrow bezels and the large display. After owning two such watches for several months, I was surprised to find that they don't automatically switch to Daylight Saving Time. I figured the DST switch on the back would tell the device whether or not to automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time. nope It just tells the device if you are currently in Daylight Saving Time or not. When Daylight Saving Time ended, I had to flip the DST switch to the off position and press the Wave button to set the correct time. Our clocks have been automatically set to daylight saving time for more than two decades. It seems incomprehensible to me that a brand new digital watch with date, bought in 2019, does not have this function. This isn't rocket science. As long as I live where the government has a ridiculous biannual time switching ritual, I wouldn't want to own a watch that doesn't automatically adjust itself accordingly. So I throw them away and replace them with less stupid devices.
