I wasn't really expecting much from them but decided to try them because the price is right. Overall, this is a great deal: light, comfortable, and great for walking. The only downside is that they are clearly not built to last. I walk a few miles a day and the treads wear out within two months. Similarly, after five years, the soles began to deteriorate severely. Now you can see that there is actually a hole in each of them. I can only imagine how quickly they would fall apart if I used them for strenuous activities. I still feel these were a solid purchase and have just ordered another pair to replace my old ones.
