I've been seeing poufs for a long time and never understood what they were for. Then I needed a stool without a large piece of furniture and thought a pouf would do. It does. And my daughter loves to sit on it and the cat has chosen it as her favorite place to sleep. I really love the fabric and this one has just the right punch. That's more money than you think something like this should cost, but I love the way it looks in the living room. Many are much more expensive.
