Good inverter, bad cable

I got this about a week ago and so far I've had it with me tested with a 1200W load. 35 minutes long and this inverter worked fine. I would give the inverter five stars. The reason I gave it four stars is because I didn't find the cable that came with it very helpful. It will probably come in handy when the user wants to connect this inverter. However, connecting this inverter to the car with this cable is very disappointing. I have two new Honda cars and the cable doesn't fit the connectors on either. If the user wants to use this inverter to turn off the car in an emergency, the cable may be problematic. Although the cable can be connected to the vehicle battery, the short cable requires the inverter to be placed close to the vehicle engine, which does not cool the inverter. To solve the cable problem I ordered AIMS 1/O AWG with alligator clips, 6ft, 2500W. But then again the Peak inverter itself seems well made and reliable.
