I always buy Canon ink carts from Revain as they always have the best price. There seems to be some confusion in the comments regarding the use of ink. If you print a lot every day, you'll get great results. If you're just printing a page or two three times a week, you're going to get terrible usage. The reason for this is that Canon printers go through a regular nozzle cleaning process that uses real ink to clean the nozzles. Leaving the printer off when not in use will reduce ink consumption. Every time you turn on the printer, it goes through the nozzle cleaning process. If you leave your printer on, it will cycle through as scheduled. Once I didn't print in color for six or seven months and a few color cartridges dried out during cleaning. I've spoken to Canon tech support several times and couldn't find a better solution. I assume it's just the price you pay for great results. I have friends who have successfully used compatible ink carts, but I also have a friend who messed up his printer with such carts. It's just a risk you're taking to save some money. Much luck.
