Review on πŸ’ͺ Elite Flow Grips by Odi by Donald Blanco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable, looks great, holds up great.

Purchased to replace the original Giant Grios which was in my Giant Trance X4 (2011) due to Covid19. Odi offers this in a variety of color options. I was going to get the white ones but if they're out of stock the gray version looks great on a white bike. The locking mechanism (one side) works as intended and should probably fit a trail bike. For some enduros, if you are a hardcore or DH rider, I think you should better look for dual locking grips. Also be careful if you use a carbon handlebar (not in my case) it uses a 3mm Torx screw (if I remember correctly). is basically the standard size you can find in most portable bike tools (useful for on-the-go adjustment). Also nice is that the pad (thickness) of the grip isn't regular so there's a bit more grease on the parts you need and you have a waffle design that sticks out and depending on how you're holding your bike you can rotate it and adjust grip according to your needs (gradients are marked on the outside of the grips). I'll update the review if anything else is worthwhile (or things go wrong). I haven't weighed the grips down, but they seem a little lighter than the original Giants.

Pros
  • Half waffle template for extra control
Cons
  • Almost never
