That's what I needed. It was possible to get a good bond between cast steel and mild steel. Need a 2" plug with 1/2" and 5" nipple for a filter project. I drilled a nipple hole in the connector, cleaned the black tube and used a card to make the connection. Was wanting to try welding but figured there would be a permanent connection with less effort.
