Review on 🔌 Cable Matters CL2 In-Wall Rated Quad Shielded Coaxial Cable 3-Pack (RG6 Cable, Coax Cable) - Black, 3 Feet by Dean Pascual

My package arrived with the expected 3 cables in a sturdy box with no damage. All three cables stated that they were tested to 3 GHz. I chose the prettiest of the 3 as 2 cables were slightly crimped at the ends as they were wrapped in loops. Well, after about 3 hours of debugging my internet connection (after changing the cable that goes to my cable modem) I noticed that the cable I chose was reducing the signal significantly! The specification for a cable modem typically calls for a minimum of -5 dBmV, but power levels of -20 to -25 dBmV have been reported with this cable modem installed. I've switched the cables back and forth a few times to make sure it tracks the cables and isn't a fluke. Don't buy these cables unless you agree with some dead ones and don't have the equipment to properly test the cables beforehand. It would have been a disaster if I had put it in the wall first.
