This warms up my snake's shell and keeps it at the right temperature AFTER some trial and error. I want her warm side to be around 85 so I set a thermostat for that. However, it was far away (according to my thermometer). So I set the max value to 108, and as a result, her warm side went up to about 88. Currently I've set it to 90, but actually it's about 83. If you got that, everything works fine. MAKE SURE you follow all the instructions correctly, ensure proper airflow etc and you will have no problems. Also, get a heat gun so you can control the REAL temperature and not just what the thermostat says.
