This air intake was installed on my 2015 Silverado 1500. Overall I'm very happy with the upgrade. It took a bit of fiddling to remove the protective cover, but otherwise the installation wasn't bad. In terms of fuel economy, mpg (based on 50-mile averages) has increased by around 4-6mpg. There is also a clear difference in sound. It's like a growling sound. Personally, I like it - it's not overbearing, but certainly not flimsy. You can fine-tune the throttle to minimize the noise, but if you're a little aggressive you'll hear it every time.
