The original Shark bristle brush is fine but the foam roller at the front end fell apart and did not pick up dog hair. As a result, the bristle brush wound all the long dog hair onto the roller and didn't work properly. It's every bit as good as the original at a better price than you can backorder direct from Shark. As an added bonus, they give you a tool to detangle the dog hair wrapped around the brush roll. It even has a blade at the curve of the tool to cut through tangled hair that is almost impossible to remove with scissors. Good quality; good price.
