Multi-metal pads do not work properly in my experience. I've tried two pairs and both work terribly. One of the pairs was definitely contaminated with a broken piston. I cleaned them and the rotor probably 5 times with brake cleaner and couldn't get them to bite. The other couple were put on another bike and were noisy and didn't bite from the start. After a month of using them they never seemed to get any better. I've tried cleaning them with brake cleaner but to no avail. They still make tons of noise and offer 0 modulations. In the end they will brake me with enough force, but they make a lot of noise. I just replaced them with some semi-metal pads today and they work much better so far and are a bit cheaper for 2 pairs.
