It's time to update the tie wire for my dogs. I opted for a lighter dog instead of the usually heavier one. At the moment Trooper and Leia (my dogs) seem to be really enjoying it. This gives them an extra 5 feet from the previous opportunity, so they are very excited. Now they can come to all sorts of new places to potty train. The clasp is smaller than some of the heavier zip ties they value because they don't have to lug around all that extra weight. Overall the quality seems good. Because the leash can hold up to 35 pounds, the metal cable is thinner and the latch is smaller, meaning a lighter tie. I've found that it doesn't get stuck in tufts of grass as easily as it's smaller and seems to detach from tufts of grass. For me the most important thing is that the part you press to open the clasp should be big enough and easy to use which works great.
